In 1995 Buddy and Gaye Marston moved to Fredericksburg, VA and discovered a dream to see church done differently.  From their personal experience, Gaye and Buddy knew that church can seem out-of-touch, unfriendly, or self-focused.  They wanted to create a place where everyone could always find acceptance, love, and hope and be encouraged to develop life-changing relationships with God.
 
In the years since, Salem Fields Community Church has been committed to living out those values.  The people who make up Salem Fields are determined to share Christ’s love with others, and we do that by living authentic lives that reflect what God has done for us.  At Salem Fields, we want you to know that you matter to God, and you matter to us.
