Connect classes

Connect Classes are designed to help you connect with God and the church on a deeper level. Each of the four classes will show you how to jump into ministry, grow through service and soar by helping others. Classes are held each month so that you can quickly work through this process. Lunch/dinner and childcare are provided.

Class 101: Discovering Membership

In Class 101 you will hear about the vision, mission and strategy of Salem Fields Community Church from Co-Lead Pastors Gaye & Buddy Marston, and you'll also be able to ask any questions you might have about the church. At the conclusion of this class, you will be given the opportunity to become a member of SFCC by signing a Membership Covenant.

Class 201: Discovering Spiritual Maturity

Class 201 offers an introduction to growing in Christ and covers topics including Bible study, prayer, tithing, small groups, and other basic disciplines. This is a great place to gain tools and habits that will help you to grow spiritually for a lifetime. (Completion of Class 101 is recommended)

Class 301: Discovering My Ministry

Get plugged into ministry in through Class 301and discover your SHAPE (Spiritual gifts, Heart, Abilities, Personality, and Experiences). At Salem Fields, every believer is a minister. Class 301 will help you connect to the area of service God designed you for! (Completion of Class 201 is recommended)

Class 401: Discovering My Life's Mission

Class 401 is designed to help you find the mission for your life. This class will equip you with the tools needed to share your faith in Christ with confidence and to serve others. (Completion of Class 301 is recommended)

SFCC's seminar classes are designed to give you tools for your everyday life. These classes meet on Sunday mornings in the SFCC seminar rooms.

Class One-Eighty

Class One-Eighty is a 6-week seminar designed for new believers who have left their old life behind for a new life in Christ. Class One-Eighty is a place to truly learn what it means to follow Christ while exploring such questions as: What is happening to me? How do I grow? How do I talk to God? How will my new relationship with Christ affect my other relationships? How do I tell others about what has happened to me?

Discovering God's way of handling money

This eight-week seminar uses Biblical principles to address everything you need to know about handling money. The Bible is a blueprint for managing your finances. Not only is discovering God's way of handling money practical, but in it you will learn the profound impact managing money has on your relationship with God.
